Realizing a next-generation onion facility in Washington State with OTA partners

This Onion Factory of the Future delivers full automation across all production processes, from cleaning and grading to internal logistics, temporary storage, packing, and palletizing.

Following a successful first collaboration, this U.S.-based client once again entrusted the Onion Tech Alliance partners, Eqraft, Modesta, and Symach, to realize their new facility in Washington State. While the overall system is based on a jointly developed integrated design, Modesta contributed its expertise in active cleaning and residual flow management, supporting a solution that combines advanced electronic grading, maximum traceability, and minimal manual labor.
